As we celebrate this special anniversary edition, we will bring together researchers, practitioners, regulators, policymakers and technology providers from across the world to explore the latest developments shaping the future of credit risk, lending and financial decision-making.
For more than three decades, the Credit Scoring and Credit Control Conference has been the leading international forum for the credit scoring community. Held every two years, it has grown into a truly global event, attracting a record attendance of more than 430 delegates from over 40 countries in 2025. Yet despite its growth, the conference remains true to its founding purpose: creating a unique space where academic research meets industry practice, and where new ideas, collaborations and innovations take shape.
The 2027 conference will continue this tradition, offering a stimulating programme that spans the most pressing challenges facing the industry, advances in statistical modelling and artificial intelligence, evolving regulatory expectations, and the wider societal impact of credit. Alongside world-class presentations and thought-provoking discussions, the conference provides invaluable opportunities to connect with colleagues, establish new partnerships, and engage with leaders from across the sector.
Whether you are a long-standing member of our community or attending for the first time, we look forward to welcoming you to Edinburgh for this milestone event. Together, we will celebrate twenty conferences of excellence while looking ahead to the next generation of credit risk research and practice.
I warmly invite you to join us for what promises to be an inspiring, engaging and memorable experience!
